ABOUT
GenZ Girl Con 2020 is a virtual girl empowerment conference formed by GenZ Writes, in partnership with other youth-run organizations. GenZ Writes is a global, student-run online media platform amplifying marginalized youth voices from across the world. With a team of 40+ students in over 6 countries, GZW has extended their impact worldwide- sharing stories written by students, for students, and amassing thousands of website views.
Our conference will feature student panelists, as well as women executives, from across the globe.

ELLEN YANG
Session One- Women x Business
Ellen is currently a junior at Newton South High School in Newton, MA. For the last three years, she's founded and led various companies in the STEM and creative industry, including working as Director of Marketing at MetroHacks, the largest hackathon organization in New England; serving as CEO of HelloBrandBox, a full-service marketing agency specializing in building powerful Gen Z brands; and more recently, operating as executive director of Desircle, one of the largest international design resources platforms for freelancers with a total audience of over 500,000.
She loves using tech innovation to solve social issues, and recently built RepTile Bot, an SMS chatbot that makes it easier than ever to mobilize and demand justice from law enforcement for incidents of police brutality and was used by 10,000+ people within the first few days of launch in June. She is also the elected State President of Massachusetts Future Business Leaders of America.

CAELEY LOONEY
Caeley Looney is a total space geek, avid Netflix binger, and French fry lover. Her Twitter tag line reads ‘Rocket Scientist by day, Editor in Chief by night’ as she does exactly that. Having graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 2018, she now works full-time as a Mission Analyst for L3Harris Technologies where she supports their small satellite programs. Once the work day is over, she comes home and works on Reinvented Magazine. As Founder and President of this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Caeley works to empower young girls to pursue STEM fields through the creation of the nation’s first ever print magazine written for girls in STEM. Outside of work and running a profit, Caeley is continuing to advance her education by pursuing her M.S. in Space Systems Engineering part-time at Johns Hopkins University online. On a less professional level, Caeley spends most of her free time running distances most people call crazy, knitting, and going on long walks on the beach with her dogs.
